I fished first set of steps seaward side and caught diddly squat

From what I saw I reckon you were chucking too far mate. Advice I've been given is to fish rough ground tactics on that part of the pier and 40 - 50 yards is plenty far enough.

Lads next to me didn't have anything either, by the sounds of it I did well to get one out plus a couple of mini-species for the list

we had a good session with 3 different species too but i nearly had a heart attack when the bangers were going off then they decided later on to try and blow the fish out of the water with them maybe codseeker should sell his gear and buy bangers and he might not blank lol lol

Just been talking to codseeker this morn Toonboy, he never said anything about blanking last night, unless he was to embarased.

A few pin whitie and a couple flatties, as soon as that floating rig or whatever
it was came in i didnt get another bite.

yes i did blank .wud rather blank than catch tiddlers all night anyways only had 3 hours fishing in them 3 hours i had 3 casts the rest was yapping to the lads

i fished from about 5 till 11 was coming over the railings at cannon ball rocks not that it takes alot but cany roll wonder what brought it on
