Roker Barrier 15/10.2012

I fished the barrier from 6 till 10.30 last night. *The conditions looked perfect, there was a lovely lazy swell rolling along the pier wall. *I fished close in behind the breakers and moved as the tide ebbed. *I got a slack liner and caught a 3lb 12oz codling. *A big thanks to the lad fishing next to me, who held my rod whilst I handballed it up, the fish I could see was just lipped, so didn't risk heaving it up with my rod. (I think it was Adam Task)

Baits used, lug, frozen crab, frozen blacks, rag and mussel. *The fish was took using lug.
