fished from the last steps before the light house from around 6.30pm. nothing of note - two eels - then around 9pm we moved to the wall on the left, tryed some daylights as a couple lads said the coalies were going mad for them and even pointed out the small patch where they were catching. sure enough first cast got a treble however no keepers. this went on untill half 10 we the light just gave up. back to bait it was but this made no difference as small flatties and coalies kept coming, also took my first two codlings !! both too small again tho 
by the end of the night- 2am - must of had 15 coalies betweens us 4 flatties 3 codling , we only managed to tale home 1 codling and 2 coalies because of size and everything else went back to fight on.
