roker pier 22nd oct

fished roker pier today 4pm til about 10pm, sea was flat and not much doing but caught myself a nice coley... well i think its a coley, im pretty new to sea fishing, it could be a pollock. il put the pictures up and if anyone could tell me what it is id appreciate it. its a decent size, around 2 pound.

bait used was squid, mussel & lug.

still looking for that ellusive cod!!

thanks mate, thought it was but it looks very similar to pollock and its much bigger than the other coley iv caught :red:

Andrew, an easy way to tell for you is coalies have a white lateral line, Pollack are dark.
