Roker pier new species for me

not a lot doing today roker pier but caught a few coalies a pollack (new species)and a red spikey thing
ugly little bugger with spikes ( sea scorpion new species)
new species which was a bonus caught on mackeral
enjoy the fishing boys n girls

Yeah, Scorpion/Granny fish. I think they are great looking things. I caught one from Roker earlier in the year and it was a brilliant red/orange colour.
One more for the species hunt eh.

The bottom one isn't a coalie mate, it's a pollack.

On closer inspection mate i would probably stick with a coalie as there isn't a curve in the lateral line.

Has similar colours to a pollock but I would say Coalie from the lateral line.... you need photos from a better angle! lol
