Hi, just wondering if many mackerel been court down pier? Be down Friday morning with me uncle who's new to fishing and be nice for him to get his first fish. And I'm new to the site so hello all.

Welcome to NESA - Been down on Roker Pier the last two nights fishing from 7.30pm to 10.30 ish. Plenty of rods out and the majority of them were ripping with daylights. A couple of lads were bait fishing, Seen 2 mackeral 2 coleys and a herring/shad ????. Blanked myself on both occasions except for the kind fella who gave me his macky for bait. - Tight Lines.
