Does anyone if roker is open today or is the sea still massive? Hoping to get out teatime after work but venues could limited......

Just read your thread about Roker peir? If you call this number 01915532149 they will tell you if it's open,it's the Port Authority,Ithink it's 24hr. Good Luck

hi pier is still shut but resorts office number is 0191 5532828 open 9.00 till 5.00 they are keys holders for gates during office hours

Thanks for info, ended up fishing the walkway next to the ratty last night from 6 till 9. Caught nowt but big chunks of kelp.....baits used were, squid, crab, makkie, yellow tails and runny down. But at least we were out......
