had couple of hours to kill before start of shift . nice day so in order not to smell like ive been fishing big time decided to just use lures and isomes. bought a little baitcaster of fleabay recently decided to give that a go loaded with 10lb braid i think and with 15lb camo leader. first of was a portland eel but no result. second rod which was a carp rod loaded with 25lb braid on fix spool. . i set up a a boom rig with size 4 hooks loaded with xl red isome . on a light lead did not cast far. had many interest but as was busy spinning did not strike or tighten in time. few times it happened anyway as was busy spinning. second lure was a rapala jelly whichi had few takes but well not connecting. so lure 3 was put on.. meanwhile back to my second rod, which was rattling like $%%^ earlier. struck and landed a flattie . i thought it was a flounder but it was smooth both ways and another kind gentleman said it was a plaice . it did have the orange spots. it also greedily swallowed my xl isome and hook too. 
lets just say flattie for the moment til some one gives a definite answer on the crap photo i put on. . . back to rod one my repaired abu rod spinner 3 my reliabe koster copy ppulled in another coalie. lite sport on braid . wished it was bigger to be fair . all in all not a bad sesh, met couple of forum membersto u know who u r it was nice to meet yas.
