Something very odd happened today. I won my first ever fishing comp. dozen of us from Northumbria Police club were I am a civilian member. Fished 3pm - 7 pm. Me and my mate opted for beach between Roker pier and Ratty. I got about dozen small fish which racked up the points. Biggest Whitey at 38 cm which also got me joint biggest fish. About dozen fishing. Bad bit was some young kids decided to use as target practice when chucking pebbles on the beach. Still none hit and they ran off when I started shouting at the little bar stewards. Joys of fishing busy beach I suppose.

Well done on your win make. Ya should be allowed to whip the little ****s with ya rod for stuff like that. I was on roker pier today and got nowt bar a little codling.
