has anybody used these they look good but does the stop knot weaken the line to much

Look a bit gimmicky to me, I prefer to tie on droppers.

If your stop knot is not tight enough and you get a decent fish on, I could see the roller being pulled down the line and possibly a lost fish.

I use stop knots all the time on my snoods when sea fishing and never known them to weaken the line.
