Hi. type sunderland into the search bar and loads of places will come.

For example. There is,
Rathouse
Roker Pier (CLosed)
Hendon prom
Whitburn cliffs - rocks.

90% of the marks along ryhope are fished from the cliff tops at high water, so take care, ;)

At low water there is only three places to access the beaches and rocks,
via the saltfern/toll bar access, this access has been demolished, you can still get down here but it's a bit of a climb so take care

You can also use the access via ryhope village and ryhope dene which are a lot easier although all require atleast a 5 - 10 minute walk from the car;)

Plenty good marks along the beach including. The target, hill 60, the ramp and the man holes, all capeable of throwing a few fish up

Good luck mate

Heres a few pics to help you out.
The Target.

Fish 3 down 2 up where its marked yellow, you only need a 30yd cast.Heavy gear required.Or from the cliff above,2 up 2 down.
The pipe and the rocks to the right fish best on the flood.

The Manholes.

Fish from the area,s marked in blue around low.Access from ryhope villge ramp.Watch the tide on the flood though as you can be cut off.
From the clifftop marked red over high.

Ryhope dene.

Best fished from the cliffs(marked in red) half up,half down.
All these marks fish there best with a S Easterly sea running.
Hope this helps mate...

If you are going to fish the cliff marks make sure you go down and take a look at low water them cliff are dodgy as out take a walk along the beach you will see how bad they are.
