anybody know the young lads name, make a nice little story

As Alan Charlton has said many time, just wish people would get drop nets, i lost a big cod before and always take a drop net when i go targeting cod from high lift marks.

I have a drop net purchased off e-bay. They are murder when it is windy. I have been picking a brick up when i take it on steetly to put inside to stop it blowing about when it is lowered down
Seems to be an odd thing with sea anglers though they do not like the idea of the drop net.Must like the sories of the ones that got away.
Couple of lads had decent fish last time out on Steetly and they did not want it.
Also its a bit of a curse. I have yet to get a decent fish when i take it.

Mick.

When i used to fish in the winter i took one, i tied 2 6oz leads to the bottom of the net, this helps the lowering and stops the wind blowing it all over.
