S Shields Groyne 16/06/11

Had a good few hours down there today (eventually lol)

Crab and rag were baits used.

Right at the end facing the sea, Snag after snag, so maybe I was in the wrong place on the groyne?

Had nowt for a while then hit a patch of fish every catch, coalie's and one flounder.

Then went dead, just as quick?? Nice day, wind spoilt it a bit.

The dredger was there, a lot nearer the mouth though so water was still nice and clear where i was.

I did a bit of spinning, just to see, but got nowt.

The traces are spot on mate, a lot better than some of the so called "professionally" made ones ive tried

The biggest coalie I got puked up a load of small fish (Whitebait /sprats??)

He had swallowed the hook so I had to take him for the pan, belly was also full of these fish, lol

I, a noticed is was quite far out when ive been on Pier...Gald to here my fav fishing spot is coming back...

A should have got those rigs off you quicker shaun mate, they obviously catch fish and do the business!! LOL
