I remember about ten years ago the first of march friday morning
9 am parked the car at the bottom of the pier car park.
went for a walk along the pier came back ticket on the wind screen
pure mistake if id realised no way id have parked there
cried for weeks after
Hahaha......sorry Mike, but the seafront car parks are managed by a private company, not the Council. Before I got my own car, I used to have a Council van and I still had to pay to park in the car parks - even when I had to park there for work reasons
yes rob i had one about 4 year ago cost £12 bought it from the museum in ocean road.
didnt stop me from getting a ticket in the same car park on a bank holiday monday while i took the kids to the fair ( parking in a undesignated area ) anyway dont have that problem now as i live
in dartford road 4 doors up from your cousin sarah .
your stevie told me
you can buy a season ticket for parking at shields from the library its about £15 for the year save you a fortune if you fish the pier regularly you can also buy a season parking ticket for north tyneside this 1`s £30 but covers st marys car park which is 50p per hour
tony hes got the company record 48 tickets in one day i had to save one of his mates from a irate driver who had chased him from the sea front to tedco .
They patrol all the seafront car parks on a VERY regular basis - I\'ve never known car parks to be patrolled as much. I guess that early on in the season must be a very poductive time as far as they\'re concered, with people either not realising or forgetting that the parking charges start again on 1st March.
i got a ticket off a bloke in sunderland
i was working about 20 yards away
i appealed
but lost my appeal
then guess what
i saw an accident and the bloke that gave me a ticket
had been run over
