mustad vikings very strong but will bend , rather than snap

Are they a bigger gape mate but still bend out? I found Vikings great but no good for a decent size soft bait

Been using these a while now. Found them to be a very decent hook and they do bend out.

Heard a lot of reports(bad) about sakuma hooks,used to swear by e'm meself till one opened rite up on me,luckily I just landed the fish(hound)a moment longer it would have been a diff matter.Been using veals bmx's bin very reliable n very sharp,had some good fish on e'm without any probs.Tbh I don't think them sakuma's r of the same qlty as they used to be,but just my findings/exp withthem.Some good hooks mentioned above mind,we all hav our fav's tho.

That's what I found seem to be very brittle now compared to around 2 years ago, cod magnet them hooks look good to

Owner and toothy critters excellent hooks but abit on the pricey side.

6/0 vikings should do i only use 4/0s and they have never let me down

Use varivus big mouths which I believe are the same hook ? They have been fine upto now. A good hook which I used to use were kamasan uptides and gamakatsu.
