I started using Sakuma line in early 2011, and I have never went back since, its absolutely mint, just as good as Daiwa Tournament, if not better in my opinion, but is cheaper and has a thinner diameter per lb-age compared to Daiwa lines.
I use Sakuma Dark Crystal for all shore fishing needs, I use 20lb for summer (0.37mm dia), 25lb for winter (0.43mm dia) and 40lb breaking strain for the rocks (0.57mm dia). I have never had any problems with it, it is smooth casting and highly abraision resistant, as well as having great knot strength. I buy mine in both 4oz spools and bulk, thats how much I like it, keeping a constant supply for my match fishing and so on...
Trust me this line will 'knot' let you down.
Hope this info helps.
