Thanks Gazza, not a split cane rod though, just out and out fibre glass (which is why it weighs half a stone lol) As for the name he owned the shop that is now Frasers, before Frasers and before the people who owned it after he owned it, which takes you back to the 1960's as I know and perhaps even before that, as bigh will recall I'm sure hahaha. Will definitely find a photo tonight.
