Hello to all.

Went down to Roker pier arround 14:00 today and I was amazed by the weather!Had never seen such calm sea since I came to Sunderland to tell you the truth:o
Anyways...lots of bites but mostly small fish which I could not hook!
About one hour later I caught a small flattie which was set free hopping for some better luck...and the spirits got high again:D
Kept on watchig my rod tip going up and down without catching anything,untill...big bite!!!Pulled the heavy line but...can't be a fish...it must be someone else's line...i though.Looked arround but all the other rod tips were not moving.Kept on reeling in until i saw 2 flatties on my line:o
Could not believe my eyes!I was so happy, I didn't ask for anything more...packed my stuff and went back home:p
I'm glad i got some fish after 5 or more times that i returned home empty-handed.

That's all from me folks.Cya later:thumbup:

ps:Excuse my English :D

they look like a canny pair of plaice, just to make sure have you got a shot of the top side. Could you send me deatils as well, weights, full name etc

I looked it on the net...they are plaices.I got a bit confused coz in my place we only have flatties!Dont know the weight yet as i got no scale, but i'll find out soon:D
Today I got another plaice but too small to keep,so i let it go.Really windy though:(...at least for my telescopic rods.

Cya all later, Theo

Sorry, but i couldn't find a scale to weight them, but i got a pic with a 30 cm ruler...they tasted good though:p
