going to scarborough for the weekend has anybody fished there is it worth taking me rod or spend me weekend in the pub staying at cayton bay if thats any help cheers lads mick
 
Marine drive throws out some canny bags of kelpy cod during the summer. North end has the better ground albeit very rough stuff. Coalies and pollock are also taken here. You will have to climb down the aquapods though!! Bass can be had quite close to shore, try in front of the sealife centre in darkeness.

cayton bay is a canny mark itself if theres not too many surfers ... theres loads of low water chucks which will throw up both cod and bass..

filey brigg is a good mark for cod ,pollock and bass
just park in the country park parking £2
ladders to climbdown to the brigg end
be carefull as you can get the odd rouge wave jeff
