Went out last night for a few hours. Conditions being as they were I went only armed with scratching rigs, Ragworm and mackerel..
Pitched up at King Eddies first as I'd heard rumours of larger than average Flatties from that area...after a couple of fruitless hours and several small knocks I reel in a large Rockling
...so back up the 39 (and then some) steps I go and headed for old favourite High Shore to drown the rest of the Blyth Ragworm
One up one down size 1/0 flapper....rag on bottom, macky on top...only 10 minutes in and I get several rattles...
30 cm Flounder on the top hook!!!...couldn't believe it
Anyway it saved a blank, I stayed another hour with nowt to show so came home.
