How can you say tournament casting is boring when you have never been to a competition?
“John, I wanted to come to a casting comp as I have never been to one”
”Tourno casters, when they fish, always seem to blast (imo) - do you not feel this is just bravado - to show anglers around them... “look at me and how far I can cast?" - I know of one particular person who does this ALWAYS at a well known promenade - and his fishing/catch rate is very poor indeed!

Bit of a sweeping generalization there Paul, I cast to where the fish are. 2yds or 200yds makes no difference to me or many other people who choose to cast in competition. I know of people who regularly fish opens and catch little or nothing, they also struggle to cast more than 50yds but I wouldn’t use this as an example and state match men can’t cast!
