Sea fishing

I have noticed not answering questions on here lately what's up with everyone

its the way its been for quite a while now. it seems many not want to put any effort into keep NESA going and just wanna take take take and take then complain "not much on nesa these days"" but willing to contribute to other sites that seem to be growing

It looks as though lots of anglers just use the site to glean information purely for their own ends without giving anything back.

I for one only give very limited info on what I do and catch now, as I am not prepared to do all the hard work just to turn up next time and find 10 anglers from out of town fishing where I may have spent 3 weeks sussing out how and when to fish it.

Stick a false thread up about a big bag of fish and see how many views it will get, as well as the usual........ where were you mate, PM me if you want, what bait, what rigs, what tide, can you put the bait on my hook, cast it and catch my fish for me mate......DUH..! :casstet:

That's why the genuine anglers don't give up much.

A personally have never bothered with other site's, the lad's on here will alway's help with advice, all you have to do is ask.

Oh FFS, always one who has to nit pick a point......

Tell you what, **** it, I am out of this forum, you can keep it for your own pointless comments. Don't bother replying to this, I am gone.

Good. Don't let the door hit your ar5e on the way out.

you can still put threads up saying how u caught them, say up craster (it a big place area) low water on sunday show a pic of catch and let it go at that, most GENUINE would just like read read wats happening, you do not have to give all the details out just the basics

The silent majority

The silent majority

Hi folks,
hope everybody is good?

i just want to add something to some of the comments being made about people who don't get that involved with some of the chat on here, and don't post on a regular basis.

I am one of those people !:o
I get on when i can, and i look to find out if there are any fish coming off, and to look for latest tackle tips.
I only contribute to threads where i think i can add something positive, and helpful.
Living in the middle of the country, and with a demanding job / family, and other fishing interests, my time available for chasing cod is very limited. It has to be planned, especially bait sourcing, so yes I do glean info. from the site, and i will state that i am very grateful to those that do post.
Thing is, as with a lot of forums at the moment, some of the reactions on here can be intimidating, and so a lot of guys who don't have all the best gear, can't designate the time, don't have the expertise, or confidence, stay in the background.... and who can really blame them ?
All I ask is don't tar them all with same brush !
At the moment I fishing with 4yr old frozen crab & cart, managed to stock up with blacks 2 year ago,( Who-hoo fresh bait ?:p), do i catch loads...no...do i enjoy myself ...yes ! It isn't work, it is my me time, and I enjoy the craic of other anglers !
With claim jumpers...easy...don't be so specific..a general area will suffice...the majority will fish their favourite mark anyway...and are just interested to know if there are a few fish about!
I have met some great human beings whilst fishing...and to be honest very few bad ones !
" Fishing a night session @ Outgang Whitby last year and a bloke walked from a 100yd away to offer me a tip light for my rod, as he thought i couldn't see any bites, he didn't realise i had 1/2 a dozen in my bag, but don't like using them, as they make my eyes go funny, preferring to use tip tape and my headlight!....that summed up an angler to me !"
Mel....

All good mate.
I can't see why the mods would warn you, I didn't say I got crab off you from here.

Get back onto them and have them retract the warning and issue you with an apology.

How's you doing anyway?
Still caravaning?

Well I'll be posting a report with pictures tomorrow as I'm fishing South Shields Pier but I can't guarantee there'll be them elusive things called fish in my pictures lol.
