Sea otter 2 a lovelly summers day and fish for all

Well i have to say what a lovelly day at sea yesterday the weather was nothing short of gorgeous flat calm blazing sun fish as well the algie is still stopping some very good fishing close inshore but it wont be long before it all fires up.
We had to do a bit of steaming again yesterday but it was well worth it in the end had a young lady onboard with her other half paul hodgeson from middlesbrough she started the ball rolling and showed the boys how to go on plus it was her very first time she has caught a cod she loved it and has booked her place for more of the action in couple of weeks time .

She didnt stop there next drop another both on squid.




Her other half paul soon followed



Paul also got another nice fish next drop.



This man was having fun good bend on the rods could it be double figure.

Next drop a double figure ling two doubles in two drops.



Some really nice fish were coming onboard the fishing was good.



Andy from barnsley was just asking do you get any catfish anymore is said now and again next drop he get one got some nasty teeth .





All in all a lovely day at sea the wind did pick up in the afternoon from the southeast and we did have a choppy ride home as we were heading staright into it but it was well worth it a lot more to come .

Bait fished well but i am sure shads will come on with bang any day now again the weather is going tits up it just wont settle.

That was shot last summer peter the lads went out for a few hours to catch a few fish and cook it on the barbi it was good fun my phone didnt stop last night lads asking to cook there fish fresh on the barbi after it comes aboard.

Hi mick they are a really good bunch of lads divine is a proper gentleman it was great fun shooting the programe we were only out a few hours i felt sorry for the camera man and his buddy they both had dodgy sea legs.

Aye Paul, looked it up on play-back... great stuff the barbie looked the biz, I got a small stove been waiting for the day, mackerel, flat sea sunshine and weekend ..... third year with stove and still no co-incidence of requirements .... great to see down to earth cod and ling fishing on the box......
