Norman, when I was young the old man always said "Look out for Victorias head" hidden in the cliffs below the Priory. I thought he was trying to keep me looking at the horizon to stop me being sick. Have a look at your HD footage................................

Well spotted Dave, we see the shape often but ALWAYS from the other side ie inside the harbour walls, I never knew it was visible from that side, let alone catch it on the vid cheers

I will definately have a closer look next time I am at Tynemouth, take a few photo's myself too. I have fished that area quite a bit over the years and never noticed anything before.
