Seaham open 2014

Morning lads, quick question....
I've entered the seaham open again this year and ended up with a south pier peg.
Is it worth fishing the pier peg or finding rough ground etc?,
Or if anyone could give me a bit info on what the grounds like?
Want to find out as much as possible before the open day,

If you want to fish rough ground, take the peg. Seaham Southie gives a whole new definition to "rough". Fill your box with as many sinkers as you can find. Then nick your mates as well.

Good shot for a decent fish though.

It don't get much rougher than the south pier mate good advice from the last post lol

What's the earliest time I can draw my pier peg? I was lucky enough to get a north pier ticket this morning.
