seaham tonight

alright lads

any idea if theres much being caught from seaham (pier or beaches) recently im off out tonight and just wanted to know!

i know hendon and horden been fishing recently

any help would be much appreciated as quite new to sea fishing and need all the help i can!

fished last night started on hall beach 1st catch at high tide whiting, me mate caught 2 and me other mate lost it in the wash, sea was flat calm, couple more whities later all undersize decided to move to hawthorn again 1st catch me mate got a whiting , then i struck into a nice codling of about 2lb after that not another nibble as the tide dropped off, wind also changed direction which flattened water called it a night at 8ish, enjoyable night though!

i fished from the main beach at hawthorn directly infront of the old gun turret/look out post, theres a deep gully there , you are fishing onto sand with rocks either side and you tend to get fish running up the gully taking stuff from the rocks, further to your left if your facing the sea is all rocks until you get to where the old point was which collapsed a few years ago, if you head off to the right you will see a large rock sticking out of the water about 20 meters infront of you, if you fish a few meters to the left of this you wont go far wrong!
