Seahouses
Seahouses
Alreet there bluepop888. Seahouse's is a fishermans paradise, you can dig all the bait you want from the boat moorings harbour which is to the right of the piers. Dig around the fringe of that harbour and you will get plenty of ragworm(maddies and normal rag) and the odd blow lug. Go deeper in and dig deeper and you'll get bigger lug. When your at that digging spot if you face the piers you'll see a drain off stream when this has drained off dig in the cleaner sand and you will get king rag. For the fishing like already stated the rock and weed beds all the way down to beadnell hold coddling, coalfish ,pollock, and wrasse. Fish the flood in the harbour and expect to get flounder, plaice, dab coddling, coalfish, and the odd eel. Fishing into the sea from either of the piers will put you into deep kelp and rocky bottom(especially north pier) again expect coddling, coalfish, and pollock. Travelling north at low water try the rock ledges for coddling, and big rocklin. Further north again onto the beach expect dab, whiting ,turbot, and a possible bass if there is a surf on. Hope this has been help, good luck fishing.
