had a day off yesterday due to working on weekend. sitting board in house so gear in car and off up the a1 got to first mark around 4 oclock few casts later got a small codling around 1 pound mark and that was the paten for the next few hours 7 oclock and off to next mark for a few hours 20 mins in 2 rods out 1 bite on 1 rod fish on half way in other rod going daft 1st rod codling about 2pound witch I put back 2nd rod fish on same stamp fish witch went back . this went on for about 1 hour then I got a little rattle then another then nowt then bang big slack line hit in too it a nice 6pound 3oz cod I put back to live another day. 5 mins later bang on other rod good fish on but last in the kelp few mins later other rod goes fish on . felt half good but got stuck in kelp lost again in the kelp just in front off me . not a bad night out I must of had 10 codling around 1 to 2 pound all went back . lost 2 half decent fish and landed a 6pound 3oz witch I put back to fight another day I took a pic off the biggest cod will up date later
