Seaton sluice beach?-how/when to fish it

Im relatively new to sea angling and am goin on the beach for the first time this week... weve chosen seaton sluice
i was just wonderin if anyone could help me and give me some info on when to fish it(tidewise) and wot b8s to use
also any other venues reccomended would be greatly appreciated

sorry m8 never fished that area before so i will watch and find out myself as i might fish that area sometime, best of luck when you do go fishing.
 
usually fish it on the drop as it can come in around the back of you on the flood. if your fishing the part i\'m thinking about.....
 
there\'s a couple of nice holes not so far out at low tide, but there\'s another one behind you that fills in when the tide turns! so watch that or you\'ll be plodging

there\'s a few members that fish it quite often, can throw up the odd suprise too
 
I usually fish it on a flooding tide three hours up and an hour back ,had some good fish to big worm baits tipped with squid [ just a little bit to keep the lug worm on ]best I seen was last year 11 lb, the bloke was fishing where I normally do with the same bait .
