any now if the rock marks round the back of the kings arm pub is any good at low tide or near the area?

It\'s not tobad, a good plaice (sorry) for flatties,In the summer, I\'v never fished it at this time of the year, I would guess you need a good tideor even a bloody good tide to fish it this time of the year.. its sand all the way out.a 35/50 yd cast is spot on, the usuall bait, rag& lug, but give the rest a go, as we say \"nothing to loose\"

if you fish the back of kings arms its not sandy bottom its rough ground, you need heavy gear ie 40lb straight through and penn 535 type reel.

I used to fish it years ago (5) its probably a little to the left of the Kings if you are facing the sea,its more down from the house on the Island than the actuall pub, sorry if I caused a little confusion.. :casstet: Tich

That is not at the back of the Kings Arms jonny you are talking about the sumps which is accross the bridge.
As tonybax said all of the marks behind the Kings arms are VERY rough.

Jonny, Stephen was right, as I said, A 30Yard chuck would do it, I appologise I gave you a little bit of duff information,,If you fish with the Kings Arms to & I mean directly to your back it is Very HEAVY ground ,just as Dave Red said,,,.. But slightley to the left about 25/40 yds there is a spot, at low & I mean low tide thats sand all the way..If you fish to the Right hand side of the K A (thats with it at your back) deep ish water ,,,,, the other way its a little shallow , but its sand all the way.... look mate you are biting Quicker than mackeral,,, Read the post, think about it for a few mins, then reply,,,,you are becoming paranoid DONT bite no on is after you,... you just leave your self a little open at times,,, try to cut down on the text sort of language a little some of us are a little over 25yr old and,usin wrdz lk udo doznt wrk ,,all the time Take It Easy,,, Cheers Tich
