been out today at one of my high water marks started at 4pm and at 4 10pm a small bite i went down for it and struck my ttr was instantly tip to butt pumped the fish 90 yards fighting well, got a good look at the fish a very good double then the hard bit the lift,head out the water then the hook link give way i was gutted.fished on had another hang me up then at 5 30ish another good bite all went well with this one that tipped the scales at just under 9lbs so that was a good end to a session .The first one was poss 14/16 pound but you cannot get them all

Well Done m8 pitty you lost the biggin but still a very good fish you did get. Same thing with me at Cambois rocks few weeks back had a goodin on but about 15yds out the fish hit the kelp - hook line snaped, felt like it could have been about 4lb mark.
