Sorry to jump in on your thread Craggsy but hopefully this is relevant: Is the Seaton Sluice end better at High Tide or Low tide? Or does it not matter? Is it more whiting and flatties at High tide and more codling at Low tide?
I've fished it a few times over the years. Have had the odd flattie and some decent whiting at high tide but caught a 4lb Codling at low tide during the day once. Reckon it was fluke that one, cos I got nowt else that day.
