Shads

just bought some shads off ebay, ive never used these before, im wanting to use them off my kayak, can someone tell me what setup you use them, they have weights in them, do I use sinker, im wanting them for the codling, cheers jeff,

Quality shads u got there. My colour of choice. The sand eels in same colours have gettin me some nice fish.
Simple as anything. I use a 3 way swivel. Split ring on bottom attached to lead. Then start with about a 5ft hook length. And shorten it bit by bit if fish aren't biting.

Not usually. But I've been known to add a strip of squid on etc. just to give abit scent.
