As we might well get some complaints about NESA treating such animal cruelty so light-heartedly, I think we best knock this on the head.

(Oh Heck.......probably not the best turn of phrase, there !!)

Lmao Tony mate good one.
Just deleted a s**tload of my post as it would not be deemed correct.
Things are getting bad mate.
Not one thing that has been said in these posts has been intended in bad taste but if you have to check everything you say because of the FEW what is the point.
I have sat here today absolutely P*****G my self laughing at the reply\'s to a couple of posts that I have made and still I find I have to be carefull. :casstet: :casstet:    :( :( .
Rant over.

Jim.

Understand your concerns TC and Jim, but got to say its all a bloody good laugh! :D

Just had a thought, how about trolling a waterskier? They get there kicks, and so will we when we see that fin cutting through the water and the back of the skiers wetsuit turning brown.

LOL..........

I was talking to a woman at work thismorning.......we were discussing the reported \"shark attacks\" on porpoises and seals.
She asked me \"what sort of bait would you use to try to catch that, then?\"............I said jetskiers and windsurfers........She wasn\'t impressed.......she\'s a jet ski nerd :P :P :P :P

Hiya,

OK it aint a Mako.. OK :)

Although it has yet to be confirmed, the 2 seal (yes 2 seal, not 40 odd) carcases are being examined, the finger of blame is pointing in the direction of a small Greenland Shark. Although rare, they are not uncommon visitors to UK waters.. unlike Mako\'s ;)

OK.......The speculating\'s over............

Was down at Marsden Bay thisafternoon and spotted the culprit......

and do you believe everything you read in the Sun???

The info I have came from one of the UK most respected shark experts who has seen the photographic evidence first hand and will be seeing the actual carcases.

this is what he had to say \"it\'s based on examination of the photos we\'ve been sent. There\'s varying views as to the species responsible; e.g., Ralph Collier in CA suggests the bite impression is more likely an Hexanchus griseus (Greenland Shark), which is plausible; the teeth impressions are essentially linear small punctures as opposed to the rather conspicuous circular impressions left by the teeth of Lamna nasus (Porbeagle) or Isurus oxyrinchus(Mako). It\'s certainly not a white shark (we estimate from interspacial distance that if it was, it could only be a juvenile of 1 to 2 m TOT!).\"

I know who I beleive :)

I personally will just keep an open mind untill it is all done and dusted, but who can argue with Tony\'s photographic evidence eh.
Hahahahaha nice one Tony.

Jim.

Hiya,

I think your jumping the gun there a bit Tony ;P

If you look at the Top of the front leg you can clearly see a bite mark, so infact this is not the culprate, it\'s another victem of this killer shark ;)
