if its not blowing a gale on sunday i think i will have a day at sharpley springs
i mihgt even get a tagged fish

fished there february last year with some flies I tied my self, basically a black/red buzzer pattern with a few starnds of red maribou as a tail in a blood worm stylee, was deadly in teams of 3

I\'m hopeless with a team of flies unless the bottom fly has a bit of weight to it, so I always bung something like a buzzer with a couple of beads on at the end, the weight seems to keep things reasonable straight when casting.

might have a crack myslef in the next week or 2, hardly got out fly fishing at all last year, so my casting will probably be worse than hopeless - whip crack away whip crack away!

well i hope my rod holds out this time
last time my hardy sirrus snapped on my second cast
they renewed it straight away tho
whip snap away
hahaha
mind you i was told
sless its not a rock rod ya kna

Hi sless

I nearly always use black buzzer at sharpleys normaly size 12 or 14. You find when it is very windy the fish go deep try a lure fished on the bottom very slow.
caught my 12lb on a black deadly perfect I was testing for a mate who ties my flies.
Caught the blue on a size 14 buzzer.

regards Nigel
