Shattered dreams

Having passed on the Directorship of Kayos(Scotland's largest young people's theatre company) to a younger generation I contemplated what I would do with my free weekends. Twenty three years of reading, dissecting and blocking plays and musicals, financial planning, set/lighting designing, career advising, Diva taming, I reckoned I deserved some less strenuous weekend activities.

I envisaged, perhaps, soporific Sundays relaxing and fishing at Tighnabruaich, Loch Fyne for Mackerel and casting admiring glances towards the Waverley as she converged on the pier.

Or perhaps, long languid pub lunches at the Spinnaker Hotel, sitting outside, marveling at the stunning views over the firth of Clyde.

Or even sitting behind the boundary ropes at Glenpark CC surveying the sanguine scene, while wrapping my fingers around a pint of the amber nector.

What I certainly didn't imagine, even in my worst nightmare, was becoming Lynn's unpaid chattel at car boot sales!!

Oh how the mighty have fallen! :(

Haha Alan, there were a few missing links today!

Lynn had an original Stone Island, unworn jersey(her son didn't like it!) for sale - cost her £90, selling it for £35.

"Would you take a £1?".......................................Eh, no!!
