shields 17/3/12.Magnificent sesh

I just thought I would share this magnificent fishing sesh with you's. Shields pier on Saturday using rag and frozen crab. Started at 10 and nothing until the tide was well ebbing and thought I'd hooked a coddy but -

I thought it was going to be a canny fish but TBH was just glad for no blank even though it was foul hooked, note the twisted trace which had to be replaced.

Then got this monster -

Lovely day to be out and good chucking conditions at last. Both monsters came on the crab, rag never got a sniff.

Was just about to say mate. I was once given a great tip that saves humping the tripod all over the shop

Cheers lads. I'm ganna try and get one of them springy clamp things that clip onto the rail on top of the wall, save lugging the old rest all the way up the pier.
