well headed down for walkway 7pm fished an hour nowt so headed for pier well worth the walk fished the 44mark pulled in a nice cod of 3lb then had a small one and then a nice size flounder went to southeast corner but nothing showing so moved back down to 44mark got a cracking bite started reeling in got it all the way in only for it drop off halfway up the wall had to be around the 8lb mark bait was fresh crab got home for 12.30am fish and chips for me and the kids

Well done mate, seems there's quite a few decent codling around at the minute. Shame you couldn't manage to get the bigger one on the lift, would've been a nice fish for the time of year.

Good catches ! I was on friday night it was hard work off the end for small codlings. highlight of the night was a lad fishing off southeast corner caught a nice Dover sole.

nice codling mate, it would have been nice to get the bigger up though.

i've had some nice fish out the river to 3lb as well, i think the swell over the weekend has brought them in.

dropping them off is no good for my angling reports, hard lines though canny cod for this time of year

hard lines jim lad still you still got a nice fish out fish bites and chips 4 the kids if i remember you saying thats what they like lovely we fished the pier yesterday sea was still canny big but fished the end and none of us got owt so we got kicked off the peir and headed for the walkway first cast pulled a codling out 1lb1/4 and just crab bites afer that..
