Shields Pier 25/1/12

Fished the pier the day with The Ghost and 2 bothers from Sunderland John and Chris (three cracking anglers who i learned loads from today about the Pier and casting).

Not many fish about today though, whities and a canny few coalies from the harbour side not much else about, but i think there was a canny coalie taken from "The Wheel.

Started to come owa a little about 4 ish due to the southerly wind so we wrapped up.

Talkin to the gateman he reckons the weather forecast is for it to go northerly at the weekend but how many times we heared that recently.

nice try budgie ..2 cracking lads them loadsa knowlledge ... i fished jarrow jetty size coalies ,whiting and a codling 2lb.10 ,me mates son had one about 2lb too will try again tomorrows flood tide

Well done buddy, a canny session for ya and ya didn't blank.

Am gonna break my absence at the weekend. Due to work commitments, i haven't been able to fish the pier all day on a saturday for 3 years!!! So am gonna be back on a saturday to reclaim my place on the end and hopefully get a big coddy!
