shields pier 30 09 2010

[danny boy]

well it is that time of year when the codlin start ,so i decided to have a go on shields pier with the silver surfer.

started at 1pm on the end of the pier and what a day fishing,codling whitties coalies and blegs.

in total we had 23 fish between us,5 were size which i will be cooking tomorrow.

we left at 10 20pm as it went very quiet.

fingers crossed we are going to have a good winter.

i did take some pics.

then i got a 5lb,good start to my winter fishing

i was at the end with me dad got there about 8pm had nowt all night till last cast got a tiny dab atleast it saved me from blanking. went home around 1am hopefully il do better next time
