Shields pier this morning

It's not just these "chavs" that will ruin it for the rest ov us! Because all these so called experienced anglers are just as bad as a seen for meself on ssp on the weekend!rubbish and p!ss all over the floor.being very loud and swearing there heads off when there is family's walkin up and down with small children wich a find very disrespectful!

I know what you mean mate but thankfully those sort of "anglers" are the minority and it would be a shame if they gave the rest of us a bad name.

Totally agree with u mate but If ppl dont clean up there act then we will all be tarred with the same brush.just a shame for the likes ov us who work hard all week then just wanna spot ov fishing on weekend to relax

This is why i like beaches rock edges cliffs its quite i would happily close all piers t o fishermen but its not fair but just my views how many people complain about there language and behaviour but how many report it or say something to the people

I take my daughter fishing quite regular and would not even think about keeping her out late yet alone over night ! Like already said when people turn up next to me effin and blinding they get told to move just the same as two older guys pitched up next to me and attempted to pendulum cast when I was with my daugher, they promptly got told to move as well.

its the same old story every year about the piers. When i go on in the summer i normally take a couple of spare carrier bags to clean up the cr@p and would urge every angler on here to do the same. We shouldnt have to but unfortunatley we will lose the piers if it keeps up. As for the child on the pier overnight thats just a disgrace the parent sounds as bright as a blackout.

they were cracking open cans of lager and throwing rubbish in the sea at 10am at blyth this morning. on a side note, where is the nearest rock mark with a good chance of makky? just to get away from the mugs

cheers mate is that just so they get a bit closer inshore like? gave it a shot the other week looks very fishy but blanked, wrong conditions in all fairness though

absolute disgrace was it his daughter ? what's the life ring doing on the deck that may be needed to save some one's life one day

OOPS can of worms lol, It was his daughter yes she was about 14 or 15 I'd say and she looked sick as a chip. It wasn't just the life belt out but the rope connected to life belt was wrapped around the light house. It was about 6.45 could hear a commotion coming from tent the lass had puked all over in there lol, couldn't believe the dad threw the tent over the small wall someone might think they caught a monster fish with that on lol.

Cheers for replies and opinions, to think we go early to beat the drunken chavs etc and get a good spot ey lads, there on to us, they camp out to beat us to the good spots haha. :D

yeah just to let em get a bit closer in.Its not unusual to get the odd bass, pollock and wrasse there either. Very good cod mark in the winter too but in the right conditions

the thick low life **** should be locked up and his kids taken off him it just boils me **** to see all the mess:mad::mad::mad:

Some people just don't know how to go on but at least it didn't spoil your day even if it got off to a bad start

Their just a bunch of tramps dossers..hate to see their houses .old cars up on bricks in gatden ..motor bike engine on kitchen table..****ty nappy behind settee with mould on

Dole card used to skin joints up on.
Catalogue lying on coffee table ready to rip off in someone elses name.
Scum

i still say the way forward is to put a day ticket charge on the piers or a yearly fee that way it will keep the tramps off the piers they do it all over the rest of the country and proper anglers would not mind paying a little fee . Rant over !

Good idea that mate. Fished Eastbourne pier last year £2 for a day pass, immaculate and run by volunteers from the local angling club.

What a first class gonk! Camping on a pier yourself is mental but with your daughter as well

But then we are dealing with people who have never had a job, never had to engage their brain in any way except to learn how to roll weed and crack open a can of Stella. Shame their kids will turn out the same.

I will stick to the beach, i can only imagine what the Heugh will be like this weekend...hard hats on ;)

Every year same nutters come out when the mackerel are in. "Take your daughter to the slaughter"! Anything could have happened camping a mile out to sea on the end of a pier!.
