Not much to report really, lovely day weather wise. Looks like we're getting the start of the summer fishing lot, plenty up today with bags of cans and spinning gear. I caught a few dabs, one flounder and one undersize codling using a mixture of crab, rag and mackerel, all baits caught. I fished the 42 mark from 10 until 4, big tide today with plenty pull on it, I caught most of the fish as the set passed me. Only one set of gear lost today and no nests so happy days. Met Rayo from the site today, another face to a name, good to meet you mate.
Hope the weather is as good tomorrow and the fishing better.:)

I mate good craic al the part timers will be oot in force wiv the weather.Wudnt mind me if they did come out fishing so stoned or pi$$ed thinking they were the b all and end all of fishing. Never ceases to amaze me mackrel season

Yeah, the 'caps and carrier bags' lots were out in force again today. Didn't see any of them catch anything, most seemed to pack in quite quickly when they realized there was nothing doing on the daylights.

I reckon give it another week and they'll be spinners, daylights, tinsel, feathers etc. flying alower the round end. Also chavs fiing and blinding, cans splattered everywhere, bull terriers barking like mad, p*ss and sh*t alower:D

You make it so tempting to head up there. What a pretty picture:D

Nice plaice Mark mate, I just been along pier while out riding and the waters pretty manky with all sorts of rubbish, the end was full of chinese people spinning, other odd groups fishing and drinking, it must be summer.

Nice plaice Mark.... up around 43? Had a run along the beach and pier this morning, passed a bunch of chav tinsel tossers on my way along, all banging on about the maccy they were gonna catch..... not with the colour of that water coming out of the river lol. Might have a wander up on Thursday or Friday when im off work.
