Tried the first gate on the flood, nothing, no bites, then moved to the blocks for a couple a hours before the top of the tide, a few bites, mate got a dab, i had a undersized whitie. then moved to the end at high water to fish the ebb plenty small bites but no fish called it a nite at 3.30am. There had been a 6lb + codling took earlier in the evening.

Not much doing but still good crack, good to get out after a few weeks, a good stir up needed and hopefully a run a cod.
 
Well done on getting out and not blanking,plus congrats on your best catch on the 22/12/2010,my 12th grandchild born on the 15/12 2010 7lb 8 oz
