I have been shopping around for a good quality VHF radio, i bought a new Navman unit about a month ago to be used as a back up, anyway i've allways liked Icom,s radio's,
it's amazing how much you can save shopping around, prices have ranged from £510 right down to the cheapest at £430....thats one hell of a difference and saving.
A lot of stuff in the past i have bought direct from the USA, which even including UK duty was up to a third cheaper, but with the price of the dollar now it's not worth the bother on electronics.
