on the question of two hooks,, can you use 2 rods with one hook on each???? might be a daft question, but was thinking allong the lines of belting one out, and one close in,, W/Bay beach can be a little like that,, I\'v caught cod at the boathouse on a 10yd cast!!!! ok it was\'nt deliberate. balls\'d one up , birds nest, it took 10mins to untangle, result one 2lb cod,,

Can\'t make a Friday night for obvious reasons but I am happy to either put my tenner in the pot or to put a bottle on the prize table. Rod the Cod is keen to defend the family honour so put him on the list of entrants. How do you want to get the prize ? I\'m up next week so can deliver or can leave with my mam for Clare??? Let me know

i was in rutherfords today, andy has kindly agreed to donate a prize, i\'ll let you know what when he sorts one out. he might also fish the comp depending on other commitments.

is the comp members of nesa and their guests only, or can anyone turn up to fish on the night, may be a good idea if its open to everyone, never know we may pick up a few new members that way, i\'m sure i could get a few of the lads from the sunderland area to turn up. plus the bigger the turnout the more money we raise !

I don\"t have a problem with anyone bringing a couple of friends to fish but It is not going to be an open comp.
I can see where some people might see an opportunity to make a lot of money from this comp (This is not aimed at you Micky it is just something that was mentioned to me). That will not be happening I will arrange it so everything is spread out evenly. So if you are thinking that this is going to be a massive pay out please think again.
This is meant to be a fun night out I think it will be.

fair enough mate, i\'ll just bring my son and maybe andy. personally i prefer small comps amongst a few mates. just thought it might have been an opportunity to recruit a few more nesa members and raise a bit more money for the rnli.
i may try and organise an open comp after xmas in the river wear if theres enough interest, but lets get this one out the way first. i haven\'t fished any comps since last years nesa one, looking forward to it.
