needing some info.buying a 7htmillionaire lad says it looks tatty wondering if you can buy side plates and how much thanx paul

Looking tatty doesn't affect the reel so there's no need to replace them. You can get new ones from Daiwa but by the time you buy the reel and new side plates you'd almost be able to buy a whole new reel with the cash.

not cheaper to just clean them down and give them a few good coats of spray paint?
