Well on way down to our coast in search of the silver..with
all the good weather and good water clarity its worth
a shot.....also with sprat and sand eel showing their
might just be one or two kicking about

Good luck mate, there's been a few taken on bait recently.

Well no luck to day gutted as the conditions
were perfect aswell....water clarity was good winds
perfect aswell..used surface lures and shallow diving
but not a sniff.there was turns diving wich is a good
singh so shouldnt be long now but was nice to get
out and give it ago as i wont catch owt sitting on
my "arse"

Just wondering what makes them feed ? When ,where ,and why ? And thought they must follow the sandeel who follow the fry in the shallows ?

Ever thought of chumming for them ?
A couple of liquidised mackerel either frozen in blocks or scooped in the surf may bring them to your feet , coz the bait fish will get in a frenzy and out in the area will be interested ????

The one reason that always kind of makes sense to me is Water Temp, the theory being, as most fish are cold blooded they tend to be more active when the water is warmer, this coupled with the bait fish starting to show when the water warms up makes the predators more active.

Something like that any way lol thats not to say you couldnt get them when its cooler, there's bass around all year you just have to work harder for them.
