I was at Skegness a last week, but didn't take my sea gear. Did some course fishing when I was there and got a few roach and had a good scrap with a double figure carp. Anyway I was talking to a guy who visits there regularly and he was telling me that there plenty of Bass being caught just south of Skegness
try slightly further north at sutton on sea, mogs eye, chapel six marshes and chapel st leonards for smooth hounds to crab baits but looking at the forecast the northerly swell wont help any of the fishing
aye the sea needs to be flat for the smuts... had good success at chaple point just north of skeggy... on both fresh crab and frozen.... and also had smuts on cart... i will be there bank holiday weekend and hope to tempt a few out myself
