Smelly flotation suit

How do you clean a flotation suit. Mines got no washing instructions in it. Wouldn\'t fit in washing machine and not sure if it can be machine washed anyway. I can survive it but am getting complaints when I hang it up to dry!

The washing instructions that came with my new one are as follows:

HANDWASH
MILD DETERGENT
MAX 40 DEGREES C
DRIP DRY

DO NOT MACHINE WASH
DO NOT DRY CLEAN
DO NOT IRON

i think machine washing buggers up the flotation stuff inside ,treat it like youd treat the car lol ,bucket of soapy water mild detergent and give it a good sponging down ,then get the hose on it ,works every time for my gaffer ,drip dry or stick it over a rad when most the waters gone try not to soak the inside

i give mine a sponging down after every trip

take a cloth lol and dont wipe ya hands on your suit

Thanks Rob and Bri. Thought the machine could be a prob. Hadn\'t thought of treating it like the car. Maybe I should wear it next time I go to the car wash.

For mine i just stick it up on a nail in the shed, spray some frebreeze on it and leve it soak in.
A few days later i leave it out in the wind to blow all the shi*e of
