Headed down smiths on sunday mornin with wor lass since I promised to take her fishing.wasn't expecting much action but was very rong. First chuck resulted in a sized whiting after that they kept coming endes up with 7 whiting 2 dab. 2 flounder. A codling and then to top it off we were just about ran out of bait and wot did wor lass bring in but a nice lobster! Never caught 1 my self so was jelous as out but well done to her!

Canny day out mate, and a good size lobster, thats one reason why i
wont take the missus, she will outfish me.

Still can't drive on mate but access ain't to bad 2 points in th fence u can get threw that I seen on th side closest to the marina

smiths dock is the old docks on north side of tyne that have been filled in for houses to be built opposite south shields ferry, just up from north shields ferry landing cant miss it.

had some decent bags of codling there last winter.

seen a fire at smiths dock the other night either the athorities dont mind or we lose another fishing spot on the north side
